You need to unsubscribe from it in order to play Serious Duke 3D. The mod is currently not combatible with the "Duke Nukem BFE" mod. You'll encounter things like dynmaic lights or cinematic models not being deleted on client side. There are also bugs with the Fusion engine breaking some scripts. I recommend to reduce the shadow size down to low or medium since this is the most demanding settingĭue to frequent updates and lack of playtesting, it's possible that you run into issues when playing online. I'm working on further optimizing the levels without sacrificing the visuals. Some areas (mainly in E1L1) have performance issues. Look for the last "ERR" line of the level load process, as this is usually the one related to the file. There is a "Log" folder that contains the log files. (.SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Serious Sam Fusion 2017) You can check which file is missing by looking in the console in game (tilde key), or opening the log file in your game install folder. Since the workshop items contain all the neccessary files, it's possible that something is wrong with your installation. If the level fails to load with the "unable to load level" message, it usually means that a file is missing or can't be read. If you're playing through SteamVR, go to the advanced SteamVR settings and change the worldscale from there.
If you're on Oculus devices, go to game settings and change the the world scale to 1.14 and weapon scale to 0.80
On default settings, the world feels too big. VR: for a better VR experience, I recommend playing around with the scale options. In the main menu, go to Singleplayer -> Campaign and select "Serious Duke 3D" the launch option menu should automaticly appear if you click on the play button in your Steam client.ĥ. Launch the game using the "play moddable"launch option Subscribe to all individual levels and the network script resources.Ĥ. LIBRARY -> GAMES -> right click "Serious Sam Fusion 2017 (beta)" -> View Downloadable Content -> The line with "BFE" should have its STATE set to "Installed".ģ.
